    Freddy a frustrated actor, looks back at his life and life in general and realizes how funny it really is.  After 20 years in the business, his career has begun a downward spiral. He knows the only way to save his ailing career is to come up with a show that will have audiences flocking into theatres. He starts reminiscing about the good old days when one could afford petrol and toll roads was something we only saw in movies. Life was so much simpler then. He takes the audience on a humorous journey through his life, a life filled with fascinating characters and hilarious stories.  In his travels back in time, we meet his first “girlfriend”, Regina, his sassy old grandmother, Granny Ester and his childhood neighbour, Oom Fanie, to mention but a few. This inspires him to create a new show for it becomes blatantly obvious to him that everyone has ups and downs in life, but if one can enjoy the ups and laugh at the downs, life becomes a pleasure. He decides to call his new show, “That’s Life”
